Praise be to Allah, who taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know. Peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: “Whoever follows a path in pursuit of knowledge, Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for him.”
Dear students, it gives me great pleasure to warmly welcome you to your college: Manar Al Janoub College for Science and Technology, which began its academic journey in the year 2025–2026. As the first private college in Jazan offering bachelor’s degree programs in higher education, we are proud of this pioneering step in our region. I also extend a heartfelt welcome to all my esteemed colleagues, faculty members, administrators, and staff.
This college represents an academic edifice striving to be a beacon of knowledge and enlightenment in the southern part of our dear homeland, Saudi Arabia as the first private college in Jazan city. Our highest mission is to contribute to national development by building human capacities and developing the community through qualifying qualified personnel with the skills and knowledge to confront challenges, create opportunities, and lead initiatives that build a bright future for our nation.
At Manar Al Janoub College, students are the central focus of everything we do. We strive to provide a comfortable, engaging learning environment that allows our students to acquire solid academic knowledge and practical skills, enhancing their confidence, promoting creativity, and encouraging active innovation. Firm in our belief in the power of community engagement, we are committed to forging strong, strategic partnerships with employers and institutions to achieve sustainable development that benefits both citizens and residents of the Kingdom.
Dear students, you are the hope and future of this nation, the embodiment of the aspirations of our wise leadership. You will carry the banner of knowledge into vast new horizons, competing on local, regional, and international levels. May you always raise the flag of our nation high with pride, excellence, and dignity. I urge you to remain diligent and persistent, making the most of the facilities, resources, and dedicated expertise provided by your college. We are here to support and stand by you throughout your academic journey, working with and for you, committed to building your success and taking pride in your future accomplishments.
Before I conclude, I extend my sincere appreciation to all my colleagues at the college, faculty members, administrators, and staff for their tireless efforts, dedication, and sincere work in overcoming challenges and creating an ideal environment for learning and giving. I pray to Allah to guide us all toward goodness and success, and to make our collage “Manar Al Janoub College” a true beacon of intellectual and scientific light, a home for bright minds, knowledge seekers, and future leaders. May He bless these efforts, and enable this institution to graduate qualified, conscious generations who carry the message of truth and goodness, and who contribute to serving their nation and building its civilization.
